U14s

Congratulations to our U14s who won the U14 championship last Monday with a victory over Emyvale.  As winners they have qualified to take place in the Feile competition in Cork at the end of June.  We would be grateful if anyone would be willing to sponsor any items which are needed for this trip including polo shirts for the team and mentors, kit bags and shorts and socks.  Please contact Paul Martin 087 2805914 if you can help out.

 STRICTLY COME DANCING

 LADIES

Well done to our senior girls who travelled to Doohamlet on Friday last and came away with a win. This turned out to be a very good game that could have gone either way. We led by four points at half time and held that lead for most of the match. They got a goal late on and we had to defend gallantly to the finish to win by a point. We want to thank all the girls for their effort and those who travelled back from Mayo and played a big part in the second half. We picked up a few injuries during the game and hope that they are cleared up soon as we play the same opposition on Friday next in Carrick.

We have a lot of girls on our books at the moment in all ages but we will gladly accept anyone who wants to play for us at any level. So girls why not give it a try and get some exercise as well. Training for all girls on Wednesday at 7-30pm. All girls will be notified by txt.

Our under 14s played Monaghan Harps on Monday last and were well beaten. All girls tried hard but were out of their depth in this league. They travel to play Emyvale on Monday at 7pm.

Our under 16 girls travel to Inniskeen on Thursday to play the home team. This will be our second game and we wish them well.
