Seniors: We travelled to Donaghmoyne on Saturday evening last for the next round of intermediate fixtures. We had a bright start but that is all that can be said as we let our frustrations boil over and lost another valuable 2 points. A few bright points can be taken like performances of some of the younger members of the panel and the return to fitness of a few familiar faces but overall it was another bad day out. Final Score Donaghmoyne 1-12  Eire Og 0-9

Junior B’s: We played Blackhill on Wednesday but fell short, after a slow start we got up and running and where putting some good passages of play together. The hosts where however matching us score for score. The teams headed into the break level at 0-6 a piece. The 2nd half began with a big burst from ourselves but we were unable to transfer our dominance into scores. The killer blow came when a Blackhill free came back of an upright and fell to the wrong man as far as we were concerned as he lashed it into the back of the net to give the home team a cushion there werent to give up. Credit us we battled hard and came close a few times but couldnt break through a well organised defence. Final Score Blackhill 1-12 Eire Og 0-9
