Senior Team.  The senior team came back down to earth on Sunday last when they suffered a one point defeat to Ballybay in the Magheracloone grounds.  The final score read 2-11 to 4-6. Magheracloone were playing catch up for most of the game after the concession of some early goals. They came strongly into the game in its latter stages and could possibly have snatched  victory in the final minutes. With the NFL resuming at the weekend the senior team have two weeks before they see further action.

In the meantime the Reserve league continues with games on this Saturday and the following Saturday.

Latton are the visitors on Saturday 2nd with the throw-in timed for seven o’clock while on 9th the team travel to Scotstown, again with a seven o’clock throw-in.

Minors.  Tuesday continues to be the preferred evening for this competition and the team travel to Seans on this Tuesday 5th to continue their campaign.  The team started with a fine win on Tuesday evening against Na Fianna. The final score line was Magheracloone 4-11 to Na Fianna 2-4.

Juvenile Activities.   As the month of April approaches the juvenile scene starts to become busy and the various teams complete their preparations for the games ahead. The U-14 team have already been in action and the draw for their championship gives them a bye into the semi final of their section. In the semi-final they will face either Castleblayney or Corduff. This game is due for decision on April 26th.

Meanwhile, the U-16 team open their season with a league fixture versus Sean McDermotts on 14th April while the U-12 play Truagh at home in their zone on 16th April.
