Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thurs. 17th March
Game Postponed: This Weekends senior match away to Blackhill has been postponed.
Yearly Lotto: Please contribute to our yearly Lotto’s. Reps will be around in the coming weeks.
New Sponsor: Our new team sponsor for 2011 is the Red Boys.
Table Quiz: This Friday the 18th at 9pm in the Red Boys. In Aid of Local Charity and Emyvale GAA, Price €10 per person / €40 for Table of four. Also all players please support quiz on the on the night.
Presentation night: for men’s and ladies teams will take place in the Four Seasons on the 26th March. More details to follow next week.
Treatment: Any player seeking treatment for an injury MUST contact Dermott Mc Mohan (0872590567) or Seamus O Neill (0872639443) before receiving any treatment.
Reserves: The Killeevan V Emyvale game was to take place on Saturday was called off due to the weather conditions.
Fixtures: This Week sees our Reserve C team in action for the first time this year with a home game to Castleblaney at 12.30pm on Thursday 17th.

Club Membership: With the new football season starting this week it is very important that ALL players pay their membership (€20) before the first game otherwise you will not be covered under the GAA insurance scheme.
Alice Mc Carron will be available before training this Tuesday and Friday night so all players please take this opportunity to pay club membership for 2011. For all other members the club membership €20 to be paid to Anthony or Alice Mc Carron 0877972118 All new members welcome.

Field Bookings: any coaches/managers or club officials that would like to book our playing fields for games must place their bookings with either Geraldine Mohan or Mary McCaffrey(0877429651).
Bingo: There will be no bingo this week due to St Patrick ’s Day.Scor: We had a fantastic result in Newry on Saturday night past when our Set Dancing team picked up a Scor Ulster Title for the third year in a row. This is a great achievement for the team, their mentors and the club in general and made all the greater when this level of success is so consistent. We must commiserate with our Ceili Dance team who narrowly missed out on first place in their section. Our heartiest congratulations to all involved in both dance teams and to their mentors. It is great to see that all of those long nights spent getting the steps right have paid off! Emyvale also congratulate the Sean Mc Dermott’s Club who won the Novelty Act. We know that both clubs will represent Monaghan extremely well in Kerry in early April. The road to Killarney now beckons and tickets for the All Ireland Final must be ordered by Sunday 20th March. Circuit Class: Ladies Fitness & Toning classes in Scotstown GAA Complex every Tuesday night at 7pm. Mixed Circuit Classes in Scotstown GAA Complex every Tuesday night at 8.15pm. Please contact Finbar on 087 9433787 to book you place as numbers are limited. Both classes will work on improving fitness levels, increase muscular strength & endurance, and reduce the risk of injuries
Juvenile Notes: Training has commenced for the following teams.
U-12 & U14: training on from 7-8 and continues every Monday & Wednesday. U-14 league starts Saturday week – Check with management regarding fixtures
U-16: training on from 8-9 and continues every Monday & Wednesday
U-8’s &10’s: training from 1-2 every Saturday.
Forde Cup: continues on Monday and Friday. All help appreciated.
