CREMARTIN CLUB NOTES

Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on Sunday 20th March.  Numbers Drawn were: 6-10-19-22.  Lucky Dip Winners: Miriam O’Neill, Drumgriston, Kieran Lavelle, Cremartin, Deirdre McElroy C/o Jack Branigan, Macartan Carroll, C/o Jack Branigan and Frankie and Anna Mooney, Drumgriston.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in  Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next.  Anyone wishing to prepay their yearly Shalotto can do so for €100. Please contact any Committee member.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Membership

In compliance with direction from Croke Park Cremartin Shamrocks GFC requests membership fees are paid by 31st of March 2011. We are kindly requesting that all new and existing club members acknowledge this deadline. It is imperative that all football players update their membership before the beginning of the season. Fees are Adults – €30, Juveniles – €15, Students – €15 and for a family (family = two adults and any children under 18) – €60.

Training

Training will continue for all players on Tuesday, Fridays and Sundays. All players are requested to be togged out and ready to go at 7.45pm on Tuesday and Friday evenings. 

Seniors:

We got our league campaign off to a winning start last Sunday when we defeated Aghabog in Aghabog on a scoreline of Cremartin 1-11 Aghabog 0-9.  Teams and Scores: Damien Lavelle, Conor Mulligan, Christopher Farrell, Martin McNally (0-2), Declan Farrell (0-1), Patrick McGuigan (0-1), Fergal Mulligan, Gary Boyd, Barry Carragher (0-4), Ronan Burke (1-1), Jonathan McGuigan (0-1), Darren Flanagan, James Leonard, Niall Flanagan (0-1) and Mark Bishop.  Subs used: Michael Morgan for Darren Flanagan.

Fixtures:

Senior Team: We are away to Aghabog in the first round of the Junior League this Sunday 20th March next at 2.30 p.m.

Reserve Team: We are away to Latton on Sunday 27th March at 2.30 p.m.

Minor League: We are away to Donaghmoyne next Tuesday 29th March at 6.45 p.m.

U-14: We are away to Toome this Saturday 26th March at 12 noon.

Well done to the U-14’s last Saturday on a good performance but were unlucky to lose by two points.  

Annyalla N.S. Fundraising Night

Annyalla N.S. are holding a fundraising night at the Dogs on Saturday 26th March next at Dundalk Stadium.  First race is at 7.45 p.m.  Tickets €10.00 including free entry to bumper draw €300.00 and a ticket stub draw for €200.00.  Tickets available from Malone’s Shop, Annyalla or contact the school directly on 042 9740973.
