Training: Training continues on Fridays and Tuesdays at 8:00pm as well as Sunday morning. The season will be kicking off for our Senior and Junior B teams shortly.

 

Dan Thompson Memorial Cup: We participated in the Dan Thompson memorial cup at the weekend in Killevan. Although we suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Currin, it was very heartening to see several fine displays from our younger players. Thanks to Killevan for organising the event.

Following the success of Strictly Come Dancing 2010, Aghabog GFC presents Mr & Mrs Aghabog 2011! The competition will kick off what promises to be a fun filled weekend. More Power To Your Elbow will provide the entertainment on the Saturday night. If you are interested in taking part in the Mr & Mrs competition (go on – you know you want to!) please call 0874139369. Coaching: Kids coaching continues on Fridays at usual times.

Scor: The final takes place this Friday 18^th in Clontibret. We are well represented in the novelty act and the recitation, please come out and support our acts.

Coaching Courses:

Child Protection:                                                                                                       The first course will target Club Administrators & Committee members.               Date: Wed 16^th Feb 7pm to 10pm

The 2nd Course will target coaches who have attained coaching qualifications but do not have Child Protection Course Award. Date: Mon 21^st Feb 7pm – 10pm.

Perfect Coaching Session:                                                                                       Takes place Monday 28th Feb at 7:30pm in Cremartin GAA Club.

Foundation Course:                                                                                              March Fri 4th (7-10pm) & Sat 5th (9:30am – 4:30pm, Venue Cloghan. Cost €20 per person. Contact Frank O’Brien on 086 0860291 for further details on any of the courses.
