Club Previews (June 20-26)

The Development Hurling League Finals takes centre stage on Thursday. Following semi-final wins over Carrickmacross and Truagh, respectively, it’s Castleblayney v Clontibret in the decider in Inniskeen. The Shield Final will be between Monaghan Harps and Mattock Rangers, who saw off Latton and East Cavan Gaels, respectively, last week.

 

 

Inniskeen host Currin in the Shoe City Senior Football League on Friday, while the remaining four games in round ten are down for decision on Sunday. Leaders Clontibret travel to Truagh, while the other two teams currently in the top four, Carrickmacross and Ballybay, also clash. Scotstown meet Castleblayney, while Doohamlet face Latton.

 

Tyholland and Seán McDermotts meet in the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League on Friday. The top two, Donaghmoyne and Magheracloone, go head to head on Sunday, while Corduff, Cremartin and Emyvale host Monaghan Harps, Aughnamullen and Killanny, respectively.

 

Oram and Toome contest a local derby in the Eurotech Junior Football League on Friday, while Killeevan go to Scotstown. Leaders Éire Óg are up against Drumhowan on Sunday, with Rockcorry making the short journey to Aghabog.

table-toppers Éire Óg play hosts to Blackhill on Friday. while nearest challengers Aghabog and Drumhowan are away to Clones and Oram, respectively. Elsewhere, it’s Rockcorry v Killeevan and Scotstown v Toome. Clones and Blackhill are back in action on Wednesday.

 

The Platinum Tanks Reserve Football Leagues continue with games on Sunday and Wednesday across Divisions 2A, 2B and Three.

 

At juvenile level, the U-17 Football Leagues are set to resume next Tuesday, while before that, the U-11 Liam Stirrat Development League begins over the weekend.
