Monaghan Coaching & Games delivered our first Secondary Schools Blitz of 2019 last Friday at the ENTEKRA Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence.

The blitz was aimed at first year girls and was a success with 200+ players getting to play matches on the day.The format of the day meant that each team got to play 3 matches. Schools who attended this blitz were Our Ladys, Largy, St Louis Monaghan, Ballybay, Inver, St Louis Carrickmacross, Beech Hill, Colaiste Oiriall and Castleblayney College. There were 18 teams in total which is great to see.

There were some very competitive matches and great skills were on show on the day.

Thank you to the schools for attending, and additional thanks to the TY students who refereed on the day.

Our Secondary School U14 Boys League is due to start in February, details of this competition will be released in due course.
