Rory Beggan & Steve Williams Goalkeeping Workshop, Monday 14th Jan!!
This Monday, the 14th January Rory Beggan & Steve Williams will be delivering their Goalkeeping Workshop in Cloghan at 7.30pm.
Current All Star Rory Beggan and Monaghan Senior Goalkeeping Coach Steve Williams will be delivering a practical based goalkeeping workshop. The workshop will cover all areas of goalkeeping from kick outs to preparation and organisation and it will be hosted in Monaghan GAA Training Grounds, Cloghan and will be starting at 7.30pm.
The cost for attending this workshop is €5.
Level 3 Performance Coaching Workshop is starting this Wednesday, the 16th of January in Cloghan.
Monaghan Coaching & Games are hosting two Skill Development Workshops on the 23rd & 30th of January in Cremartin (Indoors) from 7:30 to 9pm. These workshops are targeting underage coaches from U6 to U14. Both workshops will be delivered by Ulster Council Coaching staff.
- Workshop 1: (Handling & Passing) – This is an interactive indoor workshop where coaches will be taken through the coaching points of various handling/passing skills. At the end of this session the coaches will know the coaching points and be able to coach through drills/games using a number of progressions.
- Workshop 2: (Tackling and Evasion) – This is an interactive indoor workshop where coaches will be taken through the coaching points of various tackling/evasion skills. At the end of this session the coaches will know the coaching points of various tackling and evasion skills and be able to coach these through drills/games using a number of progressions.
