Last night our annual 7 a side floodlight Secondary Schools Senior boys blitz was held in Monaghan County Training Grounds, Cloghan. In total 6 out of our 9 Secondary Schools where in attendance, they where Largy College, Patrician High School Carrick, Our Ladys Castleblayney, Colaiste Oiriall, Castleblayney College & Inver College Carrick.

In an excellent nights football, all teams got the opportunity to play 5 games, all the games where very competitive, highly skilled and enjoyable to watch.

Patrician High School & Our Ladys Secondary School emerged as the top teams who progressed to the final. Just like in their group game the final was very close, highly entertaining and competitive. Patrician High School claimed their third tittle in a row with the last kick on the game , which was a 3 pointer from Sean Burns (Corduff).

Monaghan Coaching & Games would like to thank all the schools that where in attendance on the night and wish them all the best in the year ahead in their respective competitions.
