On Saturday past Monaghan Coaching & Games Development delivered  our 2^nd All County U10 Go Games Blitz in Clones. In total we had 22 clubs, consisting of 33 teams with over 300 boys and girls participating. For the first time we ran the blitz over two days,  on a Friday evening 7-9pm and Saturday morning 9:30 – 11:30 & 12 – 2. We felt this was a success with less teams sitting out. We were fortunate with good weather over the two days which made for an entertaining watch, of some good football by all teams. This as always is a great chance for these young kids to get a run out on the hallowed turf of St Tiarnach’s Park where they see their county heroes play every summer. Big thanks to Tom McCabe who had St Tiarnachs Park looking immaculate as usual. Also to the young whistlers who officiated over the two days. Each team played at least 3 games with each game lasting 21 minutes with 3 periods of 7 mins. Next Saturday the U8 Go Games will get the opportunity to play in St Tiernachs park from 9:30am – 11:30am & from 12pm – 2pm.
