CLG Mhuineacháin wish to sincerely thank everyone involved in the recent Monaghan GAA in association with McAree Engineering Golf Classic which took place on Saturday 3rd June 2017 in Rossmore Golf Club.  Once again we are privileged and delighted to have our main sponsors involved again this year – McAree Engineering.  We also would like to thank all the teams who entered and all our sponsors of the tee and greens (as displayed above).  A massive thank you to Rossmore Golf Club and its members who put in a massive effort on the day.  A special mention to the entertainment on the night with Alan Gunn hosting a Championship talk time with Ben Beggan; Peter McGinnity and Terry Hyland.

The award ceremony took place with Peter Richardson and Clare Doggan representing McAree Engineering.  The Winners were Longest Drive: Katie Dwyer; Nearest Pin Logan McQuillan; Best GAA Club Award – Doohamlet GAA; Ladies team – Della Hunt; Kineta Crawford; Breige McCauge and Mary Quinn.  Mens teams: 4th Tommy Harte; RoryHarte; Melvin Brogan and Sammy Mealiff.  3rd Terry Connolly; Colin Walker, Jim McKeough and Paddy Reilly.  2nd Terry Gilsenan; Kevin Treanor; Dick Reidy and James Corrigan.  Overall winners on a count back – Jim Fanning; Jim McConnon. Fracie McGuigan and Martin McCauge.

The organising committee were delighted to have the opportunity to present a donation from the gold classic to Mai Murphy representing  Drumhill House Alzheimer’s Centre Monaghan.
