Results:

Seniors:

It was mixed fortunes for the seniors this week winning one and losing one. In the away trip to latton on Wednesday night Donaghmoyne made a strong start but were undone by two quick fire goals from the hosts. Donaghmoyne returned to winning ways on Saturday evening with a seven point margin over Castleblayney. This was an entertaining encounter with some excellent point taking from 8 different scorers and a strong defensive performance, well done lads.

U16:

The U16s continued their good start to the division 1 campaign with a dominant performance over Magheracloone scoring 6-10 to 9 points.

U12: In the last round of the spring league the U12 squad travelled to Scotsown, the A team lost out to the hosts after giving a very determined first half performance. It was better news for the B team who claimed the two points to top their division.

Mini Fontenoys:

Training continues this Saturday for our future stars in Donaghmoyne this Saturday 11:00 to 12:00. Parents of Under 6 children are reminded that they are needed to stay for the hour and give a hand; help is always needed at any age group so please stay and get involved. Cost 2€ per family, bring a drink and a gum shield.

Referees:

Monaghan GAA are currently looking for volunteers to referee at go games blitzes. Referees get paid for each blitz and this is a perfect way to start off your refereeing career. See Monaghan GAA website for details.
