​U14’s v ClontibretOn Saturday last our U14’s took on Clontibret in the first round of the Championship. This was a big ask for our boys as Clontibret are current table toppers in the league and previously beat the Seans at home quite convincingly. But the lads showed great courage and determination which saw them head to the break at half time , three points to the good. The resumption of the second half brought two goals from the Seans giving them a commanding ten point lead midway through the second half. However Clontibret fought back and a rare lapse in concentration from Mc Dermotts and the opposition was back on level terms. This was followed by a fortuitous goal which ended was the difference in the scores at the end. Our young players were extremely disappointed but they can hold their heads high on a very creditable overall performance. The panel of players who took part were, Conor Brennan, Ben Sheridan, Tim Perkins, Shane Maguire, James Clerkin, Jamie McPhilips, Tim McGuinness, Fintan Keogh, Josh Hagan, Zak Perkins, Ryan Farrell, Danny Treanor, Dara Treanor, Dean Steenson, Jordon Quigley.

U10’s Blitz

Well done to all our juveniles who took part in last Saturdays go games blitz in Castleblayney. Our played through the sweltering heat and done very well.

Training for the 6’s,8’s and 10’s continues every Tuesday night at 6.30pm .
