Please find details below of an U14 Feile Skills Test in both football and hurling.

As indicated in the Northern Standard this week, the format of the skills test has changed and there will be a national competition held in Portlaoise in June with a representative from each county. We would like to see Monaghan represented in both codes.

This means that all clubs can run their own internal competition prior to this date and nominate the winner to take part in the County Competition.  What we propose to do is to run a County competition in Cloghan on Friday 8 May at 7pm – prior to the County Open Night so we would need clubs to complete their internal competition prior to that date and forward on the details of their participant to childrensofficer.monaghan@gaa.ie

This competition is for boys at U14 level. Anyone who is eligible to play at U14 level may compete in these competitions. Please pass this on to the relevant coaches within your club and please let me know if your club is interested.

1. The Féile na nGael Skill Star Challenge for both Hurling and Camogie will take place in Portlaoise onSaturday, June 6th 2015. I have attached the programme of skills as a reminder (this has not changed on recent years) and also the registration form for nominees.
