Ulster Interclub Championship Final. Our “Ulster Interclub Junior B” team had to concede their All Ireland Semi-final last weekend, with the games to be played on Saturday we lost Christopher, Ian & John due to clashing engagements so with Eoin & Fergal remaining we organised 3 more players, then the games were switched from Westmeath to Crinkle in Offaly, then we lost another 3 players late in the week so this left us in the position no one wanted to be in and we had to concede the game, it was a pity that it had to end the way it did but never the less boys well done on your provincial success.
Table Quiz. We held our Table quiz last Friday in the complex, a big thanks to all that turned out to support, and to those who couldn’t make it and give in donations thank you, a big thanks to all that sponsored prizes for the raffle from local businesses and parents, thanks to Gene Flood for doing up the questions, definitely blew the cobwebs of the brain!!!!!, thanks to Edel & Sean for organising the refreshments during the break, and well done to the wining team of Brian Mc Kenna, Martin & Freda Harte & Dermot Boyle, definitely a well-deserved victory, well done to all the players that lifted trophies on the night, check out FB for a few photos.
