Blackhill Emeralds Club Notes: 07/12/22 

Breakfast Morning Fundraiser:

Our breakfast morning fundraiser for the family of local woman Sarah Addis (McNally), Drumherriff North, and her husband Gary was an outstanding success last Sunday morning. Thank you to all the food sponsors, volunteers who worked to run the event and to the community and all our neighbouring clubs who all supported the event and donated so generously. We are truly at our best when we work together. Míle buíochas to everyone who supported this event in any way. The Blackhill story in hardback is available from the club social centre and local book shops priced €20. An ideal Christmas gift for a sports enthusiast or a person interested in local history.

BRO’s of Tralee:

Well done to Dermot Daly in the BRO’s of Tralee fundraiser ran by Doohamlet GAA in the Glencarn last Saturday night. The pink dress is now surely back in fashion for Spring ‘23!

Ladies Senior All-Ireland Final:

Very best of luck to Donaghmoyne Ladies in the All-Ireland Final this Saturday at 5pm in Croke Park v  Kilkerrin Clonberne from Galway.

Ulster Intermediate Football Club Final:

Best of luck to our former manager Colin Malone and Corduff Gaels in the Ulster Final this Saturday at 6pm in Newry v Galbally from Tyrone.
