Lotto: The lotto was held on Sunday night last. There was no winner. The numbers drawn were 7,18,19 & 27. This week’s jackpot rises to €5,200. You can purchase tickets either by buying envelopes from one of our young sellers or by logging on to our online Smart Lotto page through the link smartlotto.ie/aughnamullen-s.

The draw has made €50,000 to date which will be donated to The Mater Foundation, Ballybay Cancer Society, Castleblayney Cancer Society in the new year. We will post pictures when the presentations are made.

Children’s Tractor Run: What a day we had in the Social Centre on Sunday! There was a great turnout of children on the day where there was a tractor run as well as a visit from the man himself, Santa! A great day was had by all.

Congratulations: We would like to offer our congratulations to senior footballer Niall Mooney and Sara Lynch who got married at the weekend.

Congratulations is also extended to Simone McCabe and Niall Maguire who recently tied the knot.

We wish both couples many years of happiness together.

Best wishes: Best wishes to Angela Geoghegan Duffy who is our club nominee for the Volunteer of the Year award at the Volunteer Appreciation night and All Star presentation this Thursday night in the Four Seasons Hotel at 7.30pm. This nomination is richly deserved for Angela and we hope she enjoys her night.
