Last Friday, Nov 11th,  we welcomed Minister Heather Humphries to Drumhowan to officially open our recreation area. In 2021, Drumhowan Community Group received funding under the Clár programme to create a new outdoor recreational area and sensory garden. Thank you to all members who made Friday such a success. A lot of work behind the scenes from the community group and the GAA committee members.

Date for the Diary Saturday 26th of November. We are having a reunion night to celebrate our three winning championship teams of the 90’s. 1991 Junior Championship win and the two Intermediate Championships in ’93 & ’97. Great night guaranteed with dancing to Mickey the Butcher. Tickets are €20 and can be bought from any committee member including Seamus Duffy, Gerry Finnegan, Dympna Mulligan and Donal Mc Adam.
We offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Patricia Brennan, Tullycorbett.  Patricia and her husband Jim were known for their dancing skills here in Drumhowan and beyond. Her son Stephen was a stalwart centre half back on our 90’s championship winning teams.  May she rest in peace.
