Ulster Club Championship:
Having secured the Monaghan Intermediate Double Corduff were in action last Saturday in the first round of the Ulster Club Championship against the Armagh Champions Shane O’Neills, Camlough. Having dominated the first half Corduff went in at the interval leading 0-5 to 0-1  as Shane O’Neill’s struggled while playing against the wind in the first half only scoring a point. By mid-way through the 2nd half Corduff had extended their lead to 8 points.
However the games was far from over as O’Neills made a strong comeback putting Corduff under pressure right to the final whistle. A 1 point victory by Corduff was enough to secure a spot in this weekend’s Quarter Final. Congratulations to the team, Seamus and his backroom team on this victory.
