Aughnamullen Club Notes


Lotto: On Sunday night we had a winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot of €13,800, with Pat Farrell, Tossey, having the winning numbers of 8,9,24 & 31. We would like to extend a huge congratulations to Pat and wish him and his family the best of luck with the winnings, it’s great to see it going local and to a great supporter of the lotto. This week the lotto jackpot returns to €5,000. The lotto is the lifeblood of the club and we would ask that you continue to show your support. We would like to thank everyone that has supported the lotto, your help is greatly appreciated. You can purchase tickets either by buying envelopes from one of our young sellers or by logging on to our online Smart Lotto page through the link

Annual General Meeting: Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday the 6th of December in the Social Centre.


Social Centre: Food will be served from chef Ollie in the Social Centre every Sunday from 4pm.

Aughnamullen Social Centre is now taking bookings for Confirmation for next May.

Please note the book is now full for First Holy Communion bookings.

Fundraising Night: The family of Alan Markey are running a fundraising draw this Saturday the 3rd of December in Aughnamullen Social Centre. Proceeds from this draw will go to the Mater Foundation, Ballybay Cancer Soceity and Castleblayney Cancer Soceity. A draw will take place on the night where there is a huge selection of fantastic prizes up for grabs. For those who have not yet purchased a ticket for the draw and wish to do so there will be an opportunity in the Social Centre on Monday evening, the 28th of November, from 8-10pm to buy a ticket. There will be music on the night by the ever popular The Mad Ass Mules. Come along and enjoy what will be a great night’s entertainment and support these worthy causes.


Sympathy: We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Martin & Tess and extended Mc Mahon Family on the sudden passing of Martin’s brother Patrick. May he rest in peace.

We would also like to extend our deepest sympathies to Peter and Bernard and the extended Kealy family on the passing of Mary Kealy, Carnaveigh. May her gentle soul rest in peace.


Birthday wishes: We would like to extend birthday wishes to Peggy Donnelly who turned 80 recently. Birthday wishes are also extended to Kathleen Boyle who recently turned 80.
