Lotto: The lotto was held on Sunday night last. There was no winner. The numbers drawn were 12,20,31 & 32. This week’s jackpot rises to €13,500, which is our biggest ever jackpot. You can purchase tickets either by buying envelopes from one of our young sellers or by logging on to our online Smart Lotto page through the link

Social Centre: Food will be served from chef Ollie in the Social Centre every Sunday from 4pm.

Aughnamullen Social Centre is now taking bookings for Confirmation for next May.

Please note the book is now full for First Holy Communion bookings.

Fundraising Night: The family of Alan Markey would like to show their appreciation to the Mater hospital for taking care of Alan during his recent traumatic cancer treatment. They are running a fundraising draw on Saturday the 3rd of December in Aughnamullen Social Centre. Proceeds from this draw will go to the Mater Foundation, Ballybay Cancer Soceity and Castleblayney Cancer Soceity. There will be music on the night by The Mad Ass Mules.


Congratulations: We would like to congratulate Linda Hamilton and Emmet McDonagh who got married over the weekend.

We also extend our congratulations to Siobhán Mooney and Tadgh Concannon who got married over the weekend also. We wish both couples many years of happiness together.


Get well soon: We would like to wish a number of people in the parish a speedy recovery,

To Margaret Conlon who was in hospital recently,

To Peggy Donnelly and Mary Kealy, Carnaveigh, who were also in hospital recently.

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Charlie Hegan and the extended Hegan family on the passing of his sister Lettie Bullard, England. May her gentle soul rest in peace.



The local MacraNaFeirme group: The 3ParishesMacra is running 6 week jiving classes every Thursday until the 1st of December.

Payment options are as follows:

Macra members: €40 for 6 weeks or €8 per class

Non Macra members: €50 for 6 weeks or €10 per class

Classes are open to EVERYONE!
