U11s play Blackhill in Drumhowan this Saturday morning at 10am for the Dan Markey Cup. This will be the season finale. Please support the boys.

Suicide Awareness and Prevention sessions continue in Drumhowan centre. Wednesday 12th of Oct included a recap of the first session. The next and final session will be on Tuesday, 18th of Oct. Guest speakers will inform the audience of their experiences with suicide, addiction and depression. Key facts and stats, myths and stigmas as well as warning signs and how to help will be discussed. 8pm to 9:30pm. Please email Arnoaventin@gmail.com to book a place.

Congrats to Colleen Mooney who was a member of the Corduff ladies team who won the Intermediate championship last weekend. Rumour has it Wee Barney has been counting medals all week to see if Kieran or Colleen has the most.
Double Header This Saturday we host two Minor Ladies finals at 2pm & 4pm. Helpers and stewards needed please from 1pm. Please help if you can.
Date for the Diary Saturday 25th November. We are having a reunion night to celebrate our three winning championship teams of the 90’s. 1991 Junior Championship win and the two Intermediate Championships in ’93 & ’97. Great night guaranteed with dancing to Mickey The Butcher. More details in coming weeks. Computer Classes on Thursday 20th October at 8pm. Come along for a taster session to see what you can improve upon.
Bon voyage to Cormac Duffy who heads off to start work with the London GAA next week. He will be a big miss around the club having been a member of our senior & Reserve squads plus a highly respected coach with our Juvenile teams. Cormac was also club coaching officer and is our current Youth officer. He’s leaving big boots to fill. We wish Cormac the best of luck in his new role.
Good luck to our club players who will be playing with their Secondary schools in Monaghan, Ballybay & Castleblayney over the coming months.
