Senior Ladies: Congratulation to the senior ladies in winning on Saturday last against Lisnaskea in the Ulster quarter final. Best wishes in their upcoming game at home this Saturday against Saul, Co. Down. Throw in is at 2pm, let’s get out and cheer on our girls in their ulster campaign!
Juveniles: Our u6 winter program continues this Thursday evening. Open to all boys and girls 4 to 6 years old (Born 2016, 2017, and 2018) Contact Damien on +353876138152 for further information.
Faugh’s 5k Run: The annual McMahon’s 5k run takes place on 27th November at 1pm for the u14 race and 2pm for everyone else. Pre-registration €15, registration on the day €20. Register today at: www.myrunresults.com
AGM: Club AGM has been fixed for Friday 18th November, 7.30pm in Iontas. This is your opportunity to find out how the club overall is performing and a chance for you to ask questions and provide ideas to help bring the club forward. Lotto: Lotto results Jackpot €3,700 wasn’t won, the numbers were 07, 14, 21, and 22. Next week’s jackpot is €3,800. The 4 lucky dips are Declan Lambe, Steven Duffy, Catherine O’Toole, and Stephen Smith.
The club is looking at increasing lotto sales both online and through lotto ticket distribution. If anyone can help or knows of anybody that might be interested in selling lotto tickets around the housing estates at the weekend, contact any committee member.
Bingo: Bingo continues every Wednesday night at Our Lady’s Concert Hall, jackpot is €2200, winner takes all played at game 8 and double your money at game 10 and high low game played after game 8. Lots of chances to win lots of money.
Congratulations: To the Boys School on winning the Frank McGinn Cup last Saturday in St. Mary’s Park in Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 final. It was a great game and it took extra time to separate the teams with the Blayney boys winning by a point. Michael McArdle and Jamie Irwin lifted the cup to loud applause. Well done to all for organising the finals.
Thank you: The club would like to thank all the volunteers who helped out last weekend with the shop, lotto sales, and stewarding for the senior league final and the junior league final and the Cumann na mBunscol finals. It was a very busy weekend and we are delighted it all ran successfully.
Help needed: This Saturday we are looking for volunteers to help again with the shop, lotto and stewarding for the ladies Ulster club match that throws in at 2pm. If all volunteers could be at the field for 12:30pm please.
Walking track: The lights for the walking track have been officially switched on this week and will be lit from 5-9pm every day. This is open to anyone in the community who wishes to use the walking track amenity. Please note dogs are not permitted on the grounds.
