Castleblayney Faugh’s notes week beginning 10/10/2022

Seniors Men: Our senior men played their last game of the season on Sunday past against Carrickmacross in Inniskeen.  We went into the game hoping we would get a good result and the result in the other relegation group match would be in our favour as well.  Despite a positive start, Carrick slowly got on top and built up a lead that we were not able to pull back on the day.  Final score Faughs 0-10, Emmets 2-15.  The results of the final round of relegation group matches means that ourselves and Carrick will be playing Intermediate football next season and there will be no final relegation playoff match.

Senior Ladies: The senior ladies are holding a fundraising cake sale to help with their training fund on Sunday 16th October at 10:30am – 2pm in the Scout Hall, Castleblayney. Please support the ladies in their Ulster campaign.
