Lotto: The lotto was held on Sunday night last. There was no winner. The numbers drawn were 2,19,24 & 31. This week’s jackpot rises to €13,300, which is our biggest ever jackpot. You can purchase tickets either by buying envelopes from one of our young sellers or by logging on to our online Smart Lotto page through the link smartlotto.ie/aughnamullen-s.

Social Centre: Food is being served from chef Ollie in the Social Centre every Sunday from 4pm.

Aughnamullen Social Centre is now taking bookings for Confirmation for next May.

Under 17s: In the notes last week an omission was made when thanking the management team of the Under 17 team for the year, we’d like to thank David Lynch for all his help as part of the management team throughout the year.

Sympathy: Sincere sympathy is extended to Margaret Brady and extended Brady family on the passing of Margaret’s brother Paddy, Killycard. May he rest in peace.


Thank you: The Markey family are having an appreciation mass on Tuesday evening next the 25th of October at 7.30pm in Lough Egish. The mass is a thank you to everyone for all their prayers,masses candles lit and good wishes for Alan’s recovery which were and still are much appreciated. There will be a cup of tea after in the Social Center after which they would like everyone to attend.

Birthday wishes: Happy birthday to Beatrix McArdle who recently celebrated her 50th over the weekend.

Thank you: We have received great news that we have been awarded a grant of €24,000 from our application to the Community Centre Investment Fund to upgrade our kitchen. Thanks is extended to Heather Humphreys, Sean Gilliland and our Development Committee for all their time and effort in making this possible.


Junior Championship Final: On Saturday last we hosted the Junior Championship Final between Clones and Killanny in front of a large crowd in what was inclement weather conditions. A massive thank you is extended to all those who helped out in any way on the day to ensure the day ran smoothly. Congratulations to Clones on claiming the title.
