Corduff Gaels Fixtures:
Intermediate Championship
The curtain came down on the Group Stage of the Intermediate Championship last Sunday with Corduff registering a home victory over Emyvale. Played in inclement conditions both sets of players had to contend with driving wind and rain. It was the visitors that were first to score going 3-0 up before Corduff registered their first score in the 20th minute. In what was a very low scoring first half the sides went in 0-3 to 0-2 to Emyvale at half time. The visitors continued to lead until Corduff levelled matters in the 9th minute and from this point continued to lead by the narrowest margin until the 30th minute when a Corduff goal sealed the deal for Corduff earning them 2 more valuable points on the table. Congratulations to everyone involved. They have earned a 2 week break in preparation for meeting Sean McDermotts on Saturday 24th September @ 3pm in Inniskeen in the Quarter Final which is the curtain raiser for an Intermediate Quarter-Final Double Header.
