August 2nd, 2022

GoGo Games: Our youngest ballers (4 – 11 years) continue to develop their skills with training each Tuesday evening from 7:00pm. All the children are having a great time and plenty of fun while making new friends as they develop their skills, thanks to all our coaches/mentors who give their time so generously. On Saturday last the children attended an U7 blitz hosted by Latton a great day was had by all. This Saturday the U9’s will enjoy a blitz this Saturday 6th August in Drumhowan at 10:00am. Please spread the word to your friends, family, neighbours and relations, new children are always very welcome.

Seniors: The senior team turn their attention to the first-round match of the Championship against Sean McDermotts this Sunday, 7th August at 2:00pm. Please be sure to come along and give the team and management your support, #BeThe16thMan

Reserves: The reserves played out a tough and competitive Division 2B League Final against Clones on Friday last, 29th July in Ballybay. This was an end-to-end game with nothing between the two sides who gave it their all and played this game in good spirits. Toome played much the better football in the first half but went in at the interval a point down, chances missed and poor finishing cost them the half, in the second it was much of the same with both teams giving it their all, Toome led for a long period but Clones came right back at them and then took the lead with a goal in the last 10 minutes that was given away too easily. Clones kept the pressure on from there and despite a few chances and wides the lads could not pull it back and Clones ran out the deserved winners in the end. Hard luck to the team and management and they now focus on the Crawley Cup final on Saturday 13th August at 6:00pm, venue to be confirmed.
