Seniors

Our Seniors lost their first game of the Championship last Saturday evening when Doohamlet came out the victors with a one-point win. It was a very disappointing result on our first time out on our new pitch. Final score Magheracloone 0-10 Doohamlet 1-08.

There is a break this weekend and the lads then play Emyvale the following weekend in the last of the group stages.

U15’s

The U15 Championship started last week and unfortunately it wasn’t to be for the Division 2 team who were defeated by Truagh on a score-line of 3-10 to 7-05. Our Division 5 team also lost out to Scotstown in their first game by 9 points, but the final score does not do the boys justice. Hard luck lads!

The Division 2 team play Rockcorry away next Thursday (30th) at 7pm and the Division 5 team are away to Aughnamullen next Friday(1st) at 7pm.

U17’sOur U17’s had a great win over Latton on Monday evening. The team talk at half time must have been good as they were four points down going in at the break but when the final whistle went, they were up by four. The now play Aughnamullen away at 7pm on Tuesday evening in the next round.

U13’s

Our Division 1 team had a great battle with Donaghmoyne on Saturday morning with some great football played by both teams. It was Magheracloone who took the spoils, but it was a game that could have gone either way. The Division 6 team had a great win over Latton on the same day and all the lads played excellent football. The Division 5 team also recorded a win in their Round 2 game making it three out of three for our U13’s. Well done to all the players and managers.
