U15 Division 1 League Shield Final:
Corduff Gaels supporters turned out in huge numbers last Thursday to support the U15 team playing Donaghmoyne in the Division 1 Shield Final in Carrickmacross. It’s always exciting when these teams meet and the final was no exception. It was nip and tuck throughout with both sides having time in the ascendency. A rasper of a goal levelled things for Corduff at the end of normal time pushing the game into extra time. After the first 7 minute period Corduff were ahead by 2 points but by the end of the second period of extra time Donaghmoyne edged it to become U15 Division 1 Shield winners. Well done on a massive team performance by Corduff and by management Raymond, John and Sean who left no stone unturned in their preparation for the final. We’ll definitely see more of these stars in the future. The panel was Oran Farrelly,Oisin Mee, Christopher Corrigan,Jack Smyth,Macara Crossan,Shane Courtney,Keith McMahon,Cian Rafferty (Captain),Thomas Watt,Daithi Hegarty,Jamie McNally,Harry O’Reilly,Peter Connolly,Fergal McEnaney,Steven Kelly,Jack King,Jesse Crossan,Finlay McKeown,Harry McCabe,Owen Hand,Jack Marron and David Corrigan.
