Castleblayney Faugh’s notes week beginning 29/08/2022

Seniors Men: Our next game in the championship takes us to Carrick to play the Emmets on Sunday 4th September at 2pm. Get out and support the lads!!

Juveniles: U6 and u7 training continues in St Mary’s Park every Thursday from 6.00-7.00pm

Operation TransFaughsmation is Back!!! Classes will be Starting on the 12th of September with online registration now open. Please keep an eye on the Operation TransFaughsmation Facebook page for updates and further details.

Congratulations: To John Flanagan selected for u15 Ulster Team that played Dublin. Well done, John!!

Thank you: A big thank you to Grace Hanratty, part of the Castleblayney Faugh’s minor and senior teams as well as the successful all Ireland winning Monaghan minor team, for arriving at the training of the Faugh’s girls under 12’s, 10’s and 8’s training sessions Monday this evening with the cups. Grace chatted to the girls and answered their questions as well as helping with the coaching of our under 10’s. Someone for all the girls within the club to look up to.

Lotto: Lotto results Jackpot €2,900 wasn’t won, the numbers were 13, 14, 16, and 23. Next week’s jackpot is €3,00. The 4 lucky dips are Mike Ward, Stephen McGeough, F Cunningham and Niall Coyle.

 

Bingo: Bingo continues every Wednesday night at Our Lady’s Concert Hall, jackpot is €2200, winner takes all played at game 8 and double your money at game 10 and high low game played after game 8. Lots of chances to win lots of money.

Walking track: The lights for the walking track have been officially switched on this week and will be lit from 5-9pm every day. This is open to anyone in the community who wishes to use the walking track amenity. Please note dogs are not permitted on the grounds.

New Walking Track: Our new walking track is currently under construction and we hope to have it fully operational for the launch of operation transfaughmation, this will bring the total distance of both tracks to approximately 1.2km, of which all will be completely illuminated at night.

Advertising: We now have availability around the field for adverts up for grabs. If you would like more information on how to advertise with us, please contact David. Spaces are filling up fast.

 

Volunteer: Our various committees are already busy working hard for next season. Anyone interested in helping out as a volunteer or as a coach please contact any committee member, we would love to have you on board.
