GoGo Games: Our youngest ballers (4 – 11 years) continue to develop their skills with training each Tuesday evening from 7:00pm. All the children are having a great time and plenty of fun while making new friends as they develop their skills, thanks to all our coaches/mentors who give their time so generously. On Saturday last the children attended an U7 blitz hosted by Oram and a great day was had by all. This Saturday the U9’s will enjoy a blitz at home in St Victors Park at 10:00am. Please spread the word to your friends, family, neighbours and relations, new children are always very welcome.

Seniors: The senior team were out on Sunday last, 17th July against Emyvale in the IFL relegation play-off. Despite a huge effort from the lads this game just did not go our way, dubious decisions against the visitors came at crucial stages of the game and had a negative impact on the team. The lads gave a good account of themselves for the most part but ran out of steam at the final hurdle. Giving away early goals at the start of the match were costly and meant this was going to be a tough task. Toome will now face our neighbours Blackhill in the IFL Relegation League Final, in Oram on Saturday at 7:00pm. This is another massive game for the Intermediate survival of the Club and we will need your support, please ensure to come out in big numbers and support the lads. #Bethe16thMan.

Reserves: The reserves will play the Division 2B final against Clones on Friday 29th July at 7:30pm in Ballybay and the Crawley Cup final on Saturday 13th August at 6:00pm, venue to be confirmed. Gaelic 4 Mothers&Others: Training for the Mothers&Others continues each Thursday at 7:00pm in St Victors Park. The Gaelic 4Mothers&Others initiative sees women playing Ladies Gaelic Football in a fun, non-competitive and social environment. Development Works: Works continue at St Victors Park, there is a lot of work completed to date with a lot more to do. If you are available to give a couple of hours or are available to operate an excavator please get in touch. Gerrard Kelly continues with the erection of the fencing and this will continue for some time, anyone who is available to help with this please get in touch. We will need help with the removal and replacement of lighting in the coming weeks.
