Action on the Field

Well done to our U11’s who faced Aghabog in the Spring league final at the Entekra Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence on Saturday past. The team put in a great performance with wonderful skill and team work on show. A big thank you to Aghabog for a very sporting game and to the Monaghan GAA coaching committee for organising a great day of football action. The U7’s were also out and about on Saturday morning past as they travelled to Currin for a blitz. The U15’s also returned to action on Thursday evening past when they travelled to Scotshouse to play Currin in a challenge match.

Fixtures

It is set to be a busy weekend of action with it getting underway this evening (Thursday) as our U15’s are away to Drumhowan at 7:30. Best of luck to all. On Friday evening Clones are the visitors to Paric Mhuire in the final group game of the Junior league. There is plenty to play for in this fixture as it is all very tight at the top of the league table. Killanny currently top the table on 14 points with Drumhowan 2nd on 12. Clones and ourselves are on 11 points. While a quarter final place has been secured there is the possibility of a semi final spot. The senior team have had a fine run of form in the league, so come along to Paric Mhuire on Friday evening at 8pm and get behind the team. On Sunday the first piece of silverware will be played for by our U13’s when they take on Doohamlet in the Division 4 Shield final at 2pm in Ballybay. Again all support appreciated
