Our Seniors have reached the semi-final of the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate league. This will be played on Saturday evening against Doohamlet in Kingscourt at 6pm. Best of luck to all the players and management. Come along and support the lads.

Our Reserves secured their place in the final of the Reserve League Division 1B Final after an emphatic win over Aughnamullen in the semi-final. They play neighbours Killanny in the final on July 29th in Carrick at 7.30pm. Best of luck lads.

Congratulations to our Division 1 team who were crowned County Champions after an excellent performance against Truagh. The boys were unstoppable and played excellent football on the night. Congratulation to their captain Jacob, the players and their management team on their great success.

Our U13 Division 5 and Division 6 teams were unfortunate not to come out with silverware after their respective finals. Our Division 6 team were defeated by a stronger Clontibret side, but it was a mighty performance by our third team which is made up mostly of our U11 players. Our Division 5 team had a battle on their hands in their game and came up short at the final whistle, losing out to Castleblayney on a score line of 3-09 to 2-14. Hard luck to all the players and management.

Our U17’s play Aughnamullen away on Monday evening at 7.30pm in Rd 7 of the Division 2 league. Best of luck to all involved.

Our U19’s are County Champions!! Congratulations to all the players and their management team of Killian, Paudie and Damien on a brilliant performance. After a slow start, they rallied back to within a couple of points and after that, there was no stopping them. They played with pride, passion and pure heart and add that to their fitness and skill levels, it was the recipe of champions.

Final score: Magheracloone 4-13 Cremartin 2-09

Our U15 Division 2 team play either Truagh or Sean McDermotts in the RR Cup playoff final, date and venue to be decided.

We hosted our second U7 blitz last Saturday morning with teams from Donaghmoyne and Corduff being the opposition. Conditions were perfect and the refreshments at the end were welcomed by all. We had seventeen young stars who performed very strongly, showing great skill and spirit. Thanks to all who helped make it happen.
