This week’s Emylott Results for Monday 25th July 2022. Numbers Drawn were 4,7,10,19 There was NO Jackpot winner. There were 7 match 3 winners, Martin & Marion Mc Gee, Kevin Mc Carey Annagap, John Mc Meel, Deravoy, Jeremy Treanor, Patricia Mc Carey Lisafargy, Brian Mc Kenna Dernaloussett, Stephen Mc Carron Tonneyfinnegan. Upcoming games: U15 div.2 Shield Final v Inniskeen–Thurs 28th, Ballybay at 7:30pm.
U17 div.3B league Shield Final v Truagh – Monday 1st August at 7pm, venue tbc.
All support is greatly appreciated by all our teams, and good luck to both teams in their finals.
Intermediates: Our Intermediate team’s next fixture is the opening rd. of the championship. We are in a tough group, with our first game at home to Cremartin on 6th August at 4pm.
Minors: Division 2 team were due to play their final league game v St Finbarrs on Monday the 25th of July but St. Finbarrs conceded the points to Emyvale . Round 1 off the championship starts Sunday the 14th of August v Doohamlet with a 5pm throw in. The Division 3B team has a league shield final next week v Truagh on Monday 1st with venue tbc.
U15’s: Training every Monday and Wednesday from 7 to 8pm. The Shield Final will be played today, Thursday the 28th of July, at 7:30pm against Inniskeen in Ballybay. Good luck guys
U13’s: championship due to start on 6th August. Training as usual each week
U11’s: training Monday and Thursday from 6:45 to 8pm in Tully. They got through to the Jug Final V Truagh at the Truagh annual tournament last Saturday. great achievement to get that far. The lads were beaten by a single point. They put in a huge effort throughout the tournament – so very unlucky. More finals to come guys – keep heads up. Thank you to our neighbours Truagh for the invitaion in what was another superb tournament.
U9’s: Training, management will text with training days/times. They had another great day of football last Saturday in Kilmore. A great day was held by all. Well done.
U7’s: training as usual every week – more blitz to follow
Well Done: Congratulations to Emyvale Minors Ladies who were crowned Division 2 league champions last week after a super well-earned victory over Inniskeen.
New arrival: Congratulations to Karl Mc Quaid and his partner Una on the birth of baby Caragh recently.
**Run To Remember Gary Askin** The fifth annual Run to Remember Gary Askin will take place on Friday 29th July at 6.30pm sharp. The 5km walk/run will start and finish at Emyvale GAA Grounds as per previous years with light refreshments served afterwards. The event is free to enter with all donations going towards two local charities. This year the chosen charities are Cavan – Monaghan Palliative Care & Holy Family School, Cootehill. You can donate on the day or online via the Run to Remember Gary Askin Facebook Page. All runners, joggers, walkers, family & friends are very welcome. The Run to Remember event has been a huge success over the last number of years and we are so grateful for all the support and generosity that it has received.
