Results: Our Senior team played Tyholland in the quarter-final of the Intermediate Football league on Saturday evening last in Doohamlet.  Tyholland got the first two scores of the game but it wasn’t long till Oisin O Neill got our first score of the game followed by two good points from captain Barry Mc Ginn, one from play and the second from a free. Both teams’ trades scores with Oisin O Neill scoring another two points one from play and another from a free and Barry Mc Ginn scoring a goal and another point from a free kick.  This left the score at half-time Doohamlet 1-06 Tyholland 0-6.  The second half was as close as the first half with nothing between the teams. Oisin O Neill got the first point of the half in the opening minute with two more points from Barry Mc Ginn, one from play and another from a free.  Ciaran Mc Manus replaces Niall Connolly; Emmett Mc Manus replaces Hugh Mc Ginn and Michael Marray replaces Sean Markey.  Tyholland gets a goal just before full time and goes a point ahead but captain Barry Mc Ginn scores a point to put the teams at level pegging at full time with the score line Doohamlet 1-10 Tyholland 1-10.  Doohamlet gets off to a great start in extra time with a goal from Oisin O Neill followed minutes later by a goal from Emmett Mc Manus, Tyholland keeps the pressure on with two scores and Oisin O Neill scores a free kick just at the end of the first half of extra time leaving the score Doohamlet 3-11 Tyholland 1-12.  Tyholland opens the second half with a goal in the first minute but Barry Mc Ginn reply’s quickly with a point for Doohamlet.  Aidan Marray replaces Damien Ward and Sean Markey replaces Ciaran Markey.
