U-13s: On Sunday last Doohamlet U-13s made the short trip to Blackhill to play Rockcorry in the Division 4 Shield final in what were glorious conditions.  The boys emerged victorious after a titanic tussle against a gallant Rockcorry team.  The first half was end to end with both teams giving it their all.  Doohamlet defended manfully and went in at halftime leading on a score line of 4-03 to 1-04.  The second half was as frantic as the first with both teams coming close on many occasions.  Doohamlet found the net with some superb goals near the closing stages of the match which was the difference in the end. The final score was Doohamlet 8-05 Rockcorry 2-09.  The team captain Ben Mc Garrell proudly lifted the cup on behalf of his team.  This was a real team performance from start to finish and one the boys can be extremely proud of.  Credit to Rockcorry who displayed an array of great skills and gave it everything on the day.  The victorious team and panel were, Aodhan Mc Kenna, Harry Mc Manus, Senan Duffy, Senan Mc Manus, Shay Mc Manus, Jason Leer, Charlie Mc Manus, Dean Coleman, Tommy Coleman, Gary Cassidy, Evan Hughes, Ben Mc Garrell, Eoghan O Connor, Tommy Hughes.  A word of thanks also to the coaches Martin Hughes, Ollie Hughes, and Colin Walshe for the great work in developing these players.
