Currin Seniors

On Friday the 8th of July, we played our last game in league at home to our neighbours Aghabog and came away with our third win in a row.

Both teams started strongly exchanging points with good points from play. Aghabog took an early lead at 0-3 to 0-4 before we found the back of the Aghabog net. Both teams again exchanged points bringing the half time whistle with score line of 1-6 to 0-8. All our scores came from play.

The second half resumed with Aghabog getting an early goal to lead by two points. We pushed on with four unanswered points before the visitors levelled the game again. But a great push by the lads saw us get two more points before

we secured our second goal leaving score line of 2-13 to 1-11. We were in the driving seat then adding a further four points to Aghabog’s two points. The final whistle sounded with final score of 2-17 to 1-13.
