Currin Seniors

Currin V Oram

On Tuesday evening last we welcomed Oram in our second last game of the League and came away with a well-deserved victory with score line of 2-13 to 1-7.

Again, this was another very satisfactory performance by the lads giving it all to the final whistle.

We went three points up before Oram got their opening score with all points coming from play. We pushed on adding a further three points to Oram’s one

with score line of 0-6 to 0-2. We added another point before the half time whistle while oram added to leave half time score line of 0-7 to 0-4

Oram opened the scoring in the second half which we cancelled out with a point of our own. We found the back of the net from nice play by the lads. We pushed on then adding a couple more points before Oram found the back of our net leaving just three points in it at 1-9 to 1-6. But credit to the lads they pushed on scoring another two points before we again found the back of the net with score line of 2-11 to 1-6. We added a further two points and Oram added one with final whistle sounding. This was the second game the lads had played within two days so all credit for a good all-round performance
