Corduff Gaels Lotto:

This week’s Lotto draw was held on Monday 25th July. There was no winner of the jackpot worth €3,000. Numbers drawn were 2,6,16 and 17. Congratulationsto the 5 lucky dip winners Anthony Marron (Yearly), Niall Hand (Yearly), Gráinne McNally (Online ) Paula McConnell c/o Ballytrain and Pauric Keenan c/o Ballytrain. Next week’s jackpot is €3,100 with draw on Tuesday 26th July.

The online provider is Club Force and the link to play the Lotto is available on Corduff GAA pages on Facebook and Twitter or you can download the Club Force App. Many online options are now available so go online and buy your lotto because if you’re not in you can’t win! Charity Football Match:

The Friends Of Carrickmacross Cancer Society Charity Football Match returned in style last Friday evening. Former greats of the game from Corduff and surrounding clubs convened in Corduff  with Pat McEnaney the man in the middle. A super evening was had by all.

The friends of Carrick Cancer would like to thank everyone who took part especially the players from the various clubs who attended and took sponsor cards,to those who made donations and to main sponsor David O’Rourke. Thanks to the Corduff Gaels club for the use of their facilities , to Farney Print, Cloughvalley Stores, Pauline, Mairead, Tom, Jacqui and to all those who helped out in any way to make this evening happen.

Of course thanks also goes to Patsy, Pauric and the Friends of Carrick Cancer group which each year raise valuable funds for the Carrick Cancer Society.

Corduff Gaels Fixtures:  It’s all about semifinals and finals this week!
Intermediate League Semi-Final : Congratulations to the senior men on their League semifinal victory over Cremartin last Saturday evening making it 10 league wins out of 10 which is a wonderful achievement. Neighbours Magheracloone await us in the final which will be played in October/November.
Intermediate Championship: Attention now switches to the Intermediate Championship with neighbours Magheracloone  once again awaiting Corduff in the first round on 6th August at 7pm. The game is away with venue to be confirmed.
U15 Division 1 League Shield Final: It’s a brilliant achievement for Corduff Gaels to have 2 U15 teams competing in the business end of their respective competitions, one on Thursday and one on Friday.
Thursday 28th July : Best wishes to the U15 team and management Raymond, Sean and John in the U15 Division 1 Shield Final against Donaghmoyne in Carrick Emmets this evening at 7:30pm. Hope to see good home support there to cheer on on the side.
U15 Division 5 League Cup Semi-Final:
Friday 29th July: Also best wishes to the U15 team playing Traugh in the Division 5 Cup semifinal. Throw-in at 7pm in Corduff. 
Reserve Final:
Platinum Tanks Reserve Final also takes place on Friday evening with Corduff meeting Drumhowan in Inniskeen at 7:30pm. Good luck to the team and management Pat, Martin and Colin. Yet again Corduff Gaels are calling on all supporters to make the short journey to Inniskeen to support the team and management! See you there!
 
Corduff Ladies Fixtures:
U12s:  The U12s are in action once again this evening in Round 4 of the U12 League. They play Carrick Ladies at 7pm at Platinum Tanks Park on the Donaghmoyne Road and Corduff Ladies wish these young stars good luck!

Minor Final: Corduff Ladies played Magheracloone in the Division 3 Final last Friday in Blackhill and what a match it was. The sides were level 6 times throughout with Magheracloone edging it by 2 points by the final whistle on a score line of Corduff 4-11 Magheracloone 5-10. Hard luck to Corduff on this occasion. The team was as follows: Tracey Hill, Holly Higgins, Courtney McEntee, Moya Hegarty, Francesca Gomez, Niamh McCahey, Ellie Rose Ward, Katie Walsh, Charlotte Higgins, Fiona Corrigan, Abbie Finnegan,Kerrie Anne Walsh, Amy Nugent, Eleanor McKeown,Niamh Murnaghan,Jasmine Monaghan,Rebecca McGivney, Shauna McEnaney, Amy Corrigan and Holly Cassidy.
Senior League Division 2:
It was a busy week for the Senior Ladies as they played Carrick Ladies in the last round of the League on Sunday  winning on a scoreline of 3-14 to 1-11 which consolidated their top of the table position. Then on Tuesday they played St Brigid / O’Neills in the League semifinal which they won easily. Congratulations to the team and management. The Division 1 Final is scheduled for Sunday 7th August against Carrick Ladies. Venue to be confirmed.
