Training:

U7/U9’s training this week as normal.

U-11’s training in Concra this Tuesday 7 – 8pm.

Games:

Seniors play Truagh on Wednesday night at 8pm in St Mary’s Castleblayney. A great way to spend these lovely balmy evenings…come out and support the lads.

U-7’s/U-9’s had a great evening of hurling at the Monaghan Go Games blitz excellently hosted by Latton Hurling Club. The skill and effort shown by our youngest players was a joy to watch after their busy hurling camp.

U-11’s play Truagh on Sunday morning at 11am in Truagh. The Big match that we are all looking forward to is next Tuesday 26th with the rematch of the U-11 boys against U-12 girls at 7pm in Concra. Please come out and support the lads.

U-13’s play Latton on Monday 18th at 7pm in Concra.

U-15’s meet Truagh on Wednesday evening, 20th, at 6.30pm in Concra.

Croke Park a big bualadh bos for our U-13 player, Ultan Martin who lined out in the Limerick colours at half time in the All Ireland Hurling Final on Sunday in Croke Park, representing his school, Gransha NS. A great honour for Ultan and great memories for himself and his family!

Garda vetting: Castleblayney Hurling Club is committed to the welfare and protection of all our members. As part of this commitment the club requires all coaches, training assistants and volunteers who are associated with our underage teams to comply with the legal requirement to have Garda vetting. Please complete your vetting asap. Any questions, contact Marisa email: childrensofficer.castleblayneyjurling.monaghan@gaa.ie.

Thanks to the Castleblayney Faughs and Castleblayney College for use of their excellent facilities. A special thanks to our camp co-ordinator, coaches, assistants, helpers and volunteers for making the camp possible. Go raibh maith agat to Glenn Murphy for his videos and photographs, to Brian McGuigan @Crafty Owl Productions for his support and assistance, to Ray and Dominic @Mascot and Brendan McShane @ Shane Tyres for their support.
