What an evening on Sunday past in St Mary’s hall as we honoured a number of teams who were presented with their medals for a number of titles they claimed since 2020. The evening began with chairman Anthony Lynch welcome the large crowd, the players, coaches and committee members. It was then over to our youth officer Sharon Fox who called forward the U13 cup winning team of 2020 to receive their medals from senior player Caoilain Gallagher. Next up was the U15 league winning team of 2021 with the Senior reserves then been presented with their 2020 league medals by the U13 and U15 captains. Highlight of the night was the presentation of medals to our double winning U13 team of 2021 who claimed the Division 4 league title and then followed that up with a Division 3 cup success, something that had not been achieved by an underage team in the club before to take honours in 2 different divisions. Hot food was served with everyone enjoying the video and photo display that was provided. Thanks to everyone who attended and to those who organised the function. A special mention to Lida who done a fantastic job on setting up the hall with a find display of balloons and other features. Pictures from the evening are available to view on our social media channels
