Féile na nGael Our U-15 team travelled to Meath last weekend with coaches Ger O’Brien and Wayne Funcheon to take part in the national Féile competition. Having played games against Western Gaels(Sligo) and Middletown(Armagh), the lads then went on to play London in the Plate semi-final and to eventually lose out to a strong New York side in the Plate Final. A great day of hurling for the lads finished with a meal back home in Blayney, thanks to Raymond Watters. Thanks also to James Duffy for his donations towards the cost of participating in this prestigious competition and to the lads for proudly representing Monaghan.
