Fixtures

It is another busy week of fixtures for teams from the club. The U15’s are away to St Tiarnach/Sarsfields this evening (Thursday) at 7:30pm in Clones in the league. It has been a great run of form for this group of players as they are currently 4 wins in 4 outings and top the league table. The U11’s are away to Drumhowan this Saturday morning at 11am while the Seniors have their 2nd outing in the Junior league on Saturday evening at 7pm when they make the trip to Scotshouse to take on Currin. The Reserve team are out on Wednesday evening the 11th of May at 8pm when they welcome Castleblayney to Paric Mhuire. Our U9 and U7 panels have also commenced their training and are taking place in a number of Blitz’s.

National club Draw

A reminder that purchased tickets for the National club draw need to be returned to the club by this weekend. Thank you to those who have supported this fundraiser which is organised by the GAA nationally with all ticket sales monies retained by the club that sell them. There is some fantastic prizes up for grabs with the top prize been a brand new car. A limited number of tickets are still available by contacting any committee member.

Club Grounds

It is a busy time around the club grounds at present and it is great to see. There is lots of little jobs going on to ensure the continued development of the facility and we thank the grounds people and volunteers who are regularly working away in the background. We would ask that anyone who makes use of the grounds and club rooms would please leave them clean and tidy afterwards. It is noticeable the number of plastic drink bottles that can be left on the pitch side and in the dressing rooms after a game or training and these can be easily disposed off at the recycling bins which are situated inside the front gate. Every little bit helps, so let’s all play our part.
