Drive in Bingo

Our Drive in Bingo continues every Saturday night at 8pm at the club grounds. The Jackpot is currently sitting at €2950 with a nightly prize fund of €1350 to be given away. So why not just on the night and beep for the line and honk for the house. 50/50 draw also on the night giving you more chances to win. Thank you for your continued support of our fundraising event.

50/50 weekly draw

Congratulations to Paul Mc Cormick who was the winner of the weekly 50/50 jackpot on Monday night past. Entries are now open for next Monday nights draw which takes place at 8pm with entries closing at 5pm on the same day. Any entries received after that time will be included in the following weeks draw. The link to enter is available via our social media channels and also on the Rockcorry GAA app which is now free to download.

DVD/Video request

We have had a request from a club supporter if anyone would have a copy of the 1982 Ward cup final between Rockcorry and Doohamlet. Please contact any member of the committee if you can assist with this.

Underage Training

Work is well underway for the return of underage training over the next few weeks. Coaching and child protection courses are been completed at the moment and we thank all those who have volunteered to help out this year and those that are returning. The U15’s return this evening (Thursday) at 7:30pm at the club grounds and are requested to bring runners and football boots.

Ireland Lights up

Reminder that the lights are on at the club ground car park every Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm for those who wish to get out for a walk. We would ask that everyone attending please sign in and proceed to walk anticlockwise around the marked route. 4 laps of the carpark will give you 1km, so happy walking.

Allianz League

It would have been nice to get the win, but a draw is better than nothing as Monaghan got their Allianz senior league campaign underway on Sunday past with a draw against the All Ireland Champions Tyrone in O Niells Healy park Omagh. Next up for the Farney side is the arrival of Mayo to St Tiernachs park Clones on Sunday at 2pm. Tickets for the league must be purchased online or from any participating Super Valu or Centra store. Best of luck to the Monaghan Hurlers who get their league campaign underway this Sunday over in Birmingham against Warrickshire, while the Monaghan ladies minors get their championship up and going on Saturday when they face Antrim.
