Monaghan got off to an unbeaten start to the season with a draw away to Derry and a home win against Fermanagh. Congratulations to our representative on the panel, Gary Mohan, on his performances on both days.

St.Mellans Handball Club

National She’s Ace.

Good luck to Aoibhinn Mc Cluskey, Fiona Flood and Ciara Murray as they take part in “She’s Ace” National Handball Competition, this weekend in Killyclogher and Beragh venues.

The Juvenile coaching nights are back up and running this week and we hope all had a well-earned break, we aim to set a league up in the next weeks for the juvenile’s and let’s hope all the coaching will prove “fruitful”!!!!.

Christmas Blitz.

We ran a juvenile blitz off over the Christmas period on the 28th -30th of December, this was a good experience for some of the younger players as they never played in competitive game before, of course Covid did damage to the availability of some players but for those able to take part we hope it was an enjoyable outing, we may run a few more off before the season end especially the younger players.

Mono League.

The Mono League is back this week so keep up with all your fixtures and keep it “tight”.

Adult Singles.

We have the names in now for the singles in the Robert O Reilly Engineering & Gola Woodworks competitions and we aim to have them out for a round of fixtures possibly next week.
