ToomeClubNotes

January 4th, 2022

New Year: The Club would like to wish all our members, sponsors, supporters, committee members, team mentors, management, players and their families and all our friends both near and far a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year. Here is hoping that 2022 is good to each and every one of us and that this year brings joy, happiness, good health and prosperity to all. 2021 was another strange and challenging year, but also a very rewarding year for the Club. We had great success both on and off the field, our senior team only lost one match all year and so did the reserves. As we step up to the ranks of intermediate, we wish the team and management the best of luck for 2022. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported the Club in 2021 with sponsorship, services, supported fundraisers, our many volunteers and all in the community who helped us with the success experienced in 2021, we hope that in 2022 we can all come together again and build on last year.  We would also like to extend our gratitude to all the frontline workers who continue to deliver throughout these uncertain times.
Stephens Day Walk: Many thanks to those who supported the St Stephen’s Day in aid of Castleblayney MS Group. Despite the rising COVID numbers and social distancing requirements this was a great success, well done to Mickey Lambe and his daughter Caroline Lavelle, who organise this every year.
