Aughnamullen Club Notes

 

Lotto: Due to the current covid situation the lotto won’t return until the weekend of the 30th of January with a jackpot of €9,500. You can purchase tickets either by buying envelopes from one of our young sellers or by logging on to our online Smart Lotto page using the following link https://t.co/oUNyNiKID8?amp=1

 

Club Membership: Club membership for 2022 can now be paid. The rates for the year are as follows;

 

Adult (Non Player) Family – Maximum of 2 Adults €55

Social Membership: €25 or €50 per family ( Maximum of 2 Adults). This covers use of the Walking Track throughout the year and other Social Activities. If anyone wants to join just put your money into an envelope at the Social Centre or you can pay online.

Juvenile Membership: This covers any child up to Under 17 €25 per child

Membership can be paid through any committee member.

 

 

Social Centre: The opening hours for the Social Centre over the month of January are as follows;

Thursdays & Fridays – 5.30-8pm

 

Saturdays – 4-8pm

 

Sundays- 2-8pm

 

Food is now being served again in the Social Centre every Sunday from 4pm. For any details in relation to Booking of Hall for Food or Meetings or any other events please contact Tina on 0873332213 or club Chairman Paddy on 0876839256.

 

 

 

Ladies: Aughnamullen Ladies would like to thank Tony Ward for taking on the position of Chairman of our club for 2022. Best of luck Tony, here’s hoping we’ll have plenty to celebrate!!

 

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Roisin and Francis and the Mc Connell and Flanagan families on the passing of Sean Mc Connell, Ballytrain. May God have mercy on his soul.

 

Congratulations: Congratulations is extended to Anthony & Theresa Greenan, Formil, on the birth of a baby boy recently. Congratulations is also extended to Sean & Yvonne Moffett, Carnaveigh, on the birth of a baby boy.

 

Pitch closed: Please note due to recent resodding works on our main pitch it will remain closed to all groups and individuals until further notice..

 

Astro pitch: Our new state of the art astro pitch is open and available for booking. Contact Angela on 0861012243 to book the pitch.

 

Christmas draw: The Aughnamullen Christmas draw will now place on on Saturday the 29th of January at 7pm. Refreshments will be served on the night. Tickets can still be bought in the Centre at 2 each, with some great prizes up for grabs!

 

Help needed: The club are seeking a volunteer to carry out work as a caretaker around the club. This job would consist of 6-10 hours a week. If interested in the job, contact Paddy on 0876839256 for more information.

Aughnamullen Lights Up

Our Operation Transformation Programme got off to a great start last week and continues tonight Thursday from 7 to 9 pm on our walking track. All members of our community regardless of age or fitness levels are encouraged to come along and take some healthy walking exercise
