Season greetings.

A Merry Christmas and festive cheer to all club members and the community. While the pandemic did one again dictate a lot of what happened during the year, it is one as a club that we can look back on with a degree of satisfaction following a number of successes on the field. At the beginning of the year, one club member remarked that a minimum of 5 cups could be claimed this year if everyone performed to their potential. What a prophecy that was as our Senior reserves got the winning spirit underway when they claimed the Reserve league and that was followed up by the Division 4 league title for our 15’s while the U13’s claimed the Division 4 league along with the Division 3 championship and for good measure added the Terence Reilly memorial shield and the Annie Cusack memorial shield to their trophy cabinet. The U11’s were also in winning form as they took the Bosco Carroll memorial cup back to the village. Well done to all teams, players and coaches who represented the club and we look forward to 2022 with plenty of optimism. We also take this time to spare a thought for those who passed away during 2021 and we think of their families and friends and keep them in our thoughts.
