Congratulations to Senior player, Mark Treanor who was named Senior Hurler of the Year at the Monaghan County Convention last week, an award richly deserved by Mark! Monaghan Volunteer Recognition & Appreciation Scheme 2021 sees the club recognise Martin Rafter for his long and active association with Castleblayney Hurling Club. Since joining in 1985, Martin has been consistently involved with the club through the years – as a player, a referee and also holding various committee positions, including chairperson. Thank you Martin for your service, keep up the great work!!

Club History Project team is looking for any hurling related photos and players’ scrapbooks. These will be copied and returned safely. Or alternatively, photoscan photos and scrapbook clippings and send to 0862517407 (David). All items greatly appreciated. Catch up Series saw us chat to former player, Paul Forde, a player renowned for his storytelling!. A big thank you to all Senior and retired players who have participated.
